APW - Hamilton, Grade 904 with Secometer dial, 21J, 12S, green gold-filled OF original Hamilton case with initials to rear, attractive engraving detail to bezel and rear perimeter, cuvette with Christmas 1934 presentation engraving, silvered dial with bark-like textured surface, applied gold numerals, aperture below center for rotating seconds-register display, SW-SS, lever escapement with capped escape wheel, jeweled barrel arbor, bull's-eye pattern nickel damascene, s#3063790. Watch comes with its original fitted Hamilton box containing certificate bearing movement and case serial numbers correctly matched to the present watch; watch also comes with a 13-inch gold-filled chain.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, nearly mint cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild haze to plate surfaces which would probably benefit from a cleaning; dial with some scattered small brown spots, some brownish discoloration in areas which is most notable at perimeter between 11 and 12; poor minute and hour hands are rusted likely from a previous plastic crystal's deterioration; case shows hardly any wear, rear with some fine scratches and profuse micro-fine scratches, cuvette with fine scratches from slipped past openings, no dents or dings, superb engraving detail; tight bow, crown shows very little wear; clean plastic crystal; box in fine cosmetic condition overall, exterior with wear and areas of finish loss which are most notable at edges, interior with wear and velvet loss in areas around seat of watch. Chain shows light to medium wear with wear to brass to portions of its links.
